About Us
The Iron Men Ministries Jeep and 4x4 Club is a bunch
of guys that like to go out and have fun with our 4-Wheel
drive vehicles. Were a Part of the
Verde Baptist
Iron Men Ministries. What kind of ministry is this?
Well it's a good time to fellowship with other guys and their
families. The trips begin with a prayer and many times we'll
have a short devotion out on the trail. We've also been able
to talk to others we meet on the trail about the Ministry and
we've also given away some bibles to those that need one.

Pyeatt Draw Trip
We had 7 jeeps and 13 guys come on the trip up to Pyeatt
draw near Payson, AZ. This is a very fun trail that allows
those that want to play hard the chance and for those not as
adventurous to take the road that follows the trail and watch.
There are some pretty tough spots that warrant the 4.0+
rating. Especially the last waterfall. Amazingly the white CJ7
was the only jeep to make it without a winch. Don't ask me
how... I still can't believe I made it. Granted there were
some stacked rocks....but two other jeeps had the same rocks.

IMM Moab Trip 2006
We had 8 jeeps and 14 guys that were able to experience
Moab, Utah this year. It was an awesome time of fellowship,
four-wheeling, trail repair 101 and watching God work thru all
of it. He was with us when the motel reservations turned
out to be in Marana AZ and not Moab and provided 8 rooms for 5
nights at another motel. There was No Vacancy posted the rest
of the time we were there. He was with us with we made trail
repairs and talk to other people about IMM as they came by. He
was with us when we were able to help others that had broken
down. He kept us safe the entire time. And He was with during
the devotion times.

30th July 2006
Broken Arrow and
Pipeline
We had 3 jeeps out for some fun wheeling on two of
Sedona's more popular trails. These are some easy but fun
trails with some awesome scenery. But with this being monsoon
season we finished the ride very wet. When we get over an inch
of rain in under an hour the washes tend to fill fast. About a
1/2 mile from the main road we were stopped by a 5 to 6 foot
deep river that usually isn't there. So while our jeeps turned
into bathtubs we had to wait for the torrent to reside.
2nd July 2006
Horseshoe Wash
We had 4 rigs out to play on this hot Sunday in July.
Pastor Steve was able to join us for some Extreme Wheeling.
Paul mentioned that he would like some rain in the prayer
before we left and that prayer was answered about half way
through. It was a welcome relief and cooled it off. After a
short devotion and some more wheeling it got dark. This meant
bailing out before the end and heading back home.... hopefully
we can do this again and finish it.

Pivot Rock trail
We had 7 rigs out to play on this outing up in the pines
near Clint's well. Some as far away as Phoenix. Nobody broke
anything but some metal did get bent. Sorry Tim. It was
quite different without the 2 feet of snow that was here a
month ago.

March 2006
Homestead Trail near
Sedona,
AZ
We had 15 rigs and around 35 guys out to have a good time
on an easy run. Everyone made it to the lunch spot near Oak
Creek after descending a section of the trail with some
stair-step sections. During lunch we had a good time
fellowshipping with each other and had a few minutes in the
word (thanks pastor Denny) After lunch we had to go back up
the stair-step section and then most guys headed home. A few
of us stayed out on the trail to tackle some more difficult
obstacles by way of Dry Creek Wash. Some of the rigs were
tested to the limit and impressed all who hadn't seen it
before.

Snow Trip near
Strawberry,
AZ
We had 6 rigs out to play in the snow (finally) after
church. With over 2 feet of snow it was a little tough if you
ventured off the trail that was blazed by the leader. We found
this out a little over 100 yards off the highway. But a good
time was had by all and we even helped out someone else that
was having a hard time getting out of the ditch (that's the
brown truck in the pics).

December 2005
Perkinsville Highway to
Verde River
We had 6 rigs out the day after Christmas. It was a great
trail till we got to the end. No way out of the canyon so we
had to turn around and come back out the same way we came in.
It was a great day to try out the new tires on a couple of the
jeeps.
13th
November 2005
Mingus Mountain
We had 8 rigs climbing up the side of Mingus Mountain
after church. Most of the trails today were pretty tame.
But the weather was nice and Jim had a good devotion about the
narrow path (biblically speaking of course)
30th October 2005
Sycamore Canyon
(Psalm 126)
We had 7 rigs out for an afternoon trip after church. The
weather couldn't have been any nicer. Other than a few
scratches, some dings here and there, and a small fire things
went pretty smooth (at least as smooth as a rock strewn wash
could be).
22nd October 2005
Smiley Rock near
Jerome
This was a fun ride for the families. We even got a stock
Tahoe thru it! (not recommended though) We started out with 8
rigs and then 7 after one of us saw what was ahead and decided
maybe another day would be a good day to learn what his
vehicle could do.
4th September 2005
Cherry Wash
Wheeling
The Sunday before Labor Day seemed like a good time to make a
run up Cherry Wash south of town. check it out.
19th-22nd August 2005
Fun Four Wheeling in Moab

Some trip are a little farther from home than others. This
time 7 of us went to Moab, Utah for a four-day adventure, and
boy do I mean an adventure! Each day started with a short
devotion and prayer and then it was off to see how far we
could test our guardian angels. Well, maybe not that much. But
I'm sure they didn't get to much rest while we were moving.
