Men's Ministry Teams
Body Building
(Discipleship)
Vision: That each man will live in a discipling
relationship that both gleans wisdom from those who have gone before
and provides a trail for others to follow.
Purpose: Men need men for encouragement, support,
accountability and direction. In this division of Iron Men, relation
ships will provide opportunities for men to develop their spiritual
muscles as they live openly with each other before the Lord.
Mission Possible
Vision: That men will experience the Great Commission ("Go
into all the world with the Good News of God's glorious Gospel") as
a personal reality through opportunities to be involved in practical
outreach to lost and hurting people.
Purpose: Men need involvement in the lives of those who
are seeking truth. This division of Iron Men will identify practical
projects both locally and in foreign fields where everyday gifts can
be transformed to reach others for Jesus Christ.
The A Team
Vision: That men will experience the joy of serving others
in the community in practical ways using the God-given gifts and
abilities with which they have been entrusted as stewards.
Purpose: The church of Jesus Christ is a body. Each member
of the church is a part of this body, and each must do its part to
keep the whole body functioning properly. This division will provide
opportunities for men to practically use their gifts to help others
in need within the body and community.
Gone Fishin'
(Evangelism)
Vision: That men will be trained and empowered to "always
be ready to give an answer for the hope that is within" them.
Purpose: Men need to be able to share their hearts for
Christ with others. Most however, get sidetracked in trying to
figure out the right language or approach to introducing the love
they have for their Savior with another. These men will train and
provide opportunities for men to put their new-found skill to work
in furthering the communication of the Good News of Jesus Christ to
others.
OLF (Outdoor Life Fellowship)
Vision: That men will experience fun and fellowship with
one another and that this fellowship will lead to a fuller
understanding of the joy that is discovered in relationship with
Jesus Christ.
Purpose: Men by nature find common ground in activities,
hobbies, or interests shared between them. These men will provide
fun and exciting events for men to enjoy each other while
experiencing the development of deeper bonds with one another.
